Founder and Principal

Heidi is a compassionate coach, skilled facilitator, and passionate educator who enables leaders to implement practical solutions to real work issues while embracing continuous improvement.

Partnering with leading educational institutions, Heidi has facilitated more than 550 management seminars throughout North America and Europe.

Heidi spent over a decade as a database consultant in health care, education, government, manufacturing, insurance, engineering and financial services primarily involved with business process re-engineering and automation projects. 

Heidi authored and presented the Massachusetts Commonwealth Medicine and UMass Medical School's

Project Management Certification program.

With over 30 years of mindfulness practice Heidi listens deeply which creates an atmosphere of trust and camaraderie.   Heidi believes as we move from individual positions to shared interests, enormous problem-solving potential is unleashed.

Instructional Designer

As an Instructional Designer/Project Manager for Practical PM, Julia is passionate about continuous growth and learning.  For Practical PM Julia has designed over twenty five micro learning sessions, participant guides and slide decks.


She leverages the ADDIE model to design and develop learning curriculum. Julia aims to ensure that Practical PM clients walk away from training with a rewarding learning experience and tangible resources to bring to the workplace.


Julia has experience working in the fields of team building, consulting, higher education, healthcare.  Julia has served as a member of a Global Solutions Team for an international training, coaching, consulting firm where she developed soft skill training programs for corporate clients with a focus on communication, leadership, sales skills.
